How did the main concerns of Americans differ in Colonial America, from 1600's to 1700's?

During the 1600's the settlers came from different European countries mainly from England to settle in America,they came and settled in the 13 states of America.They came mainly for making money and have religious freedom.Initially the settlers had to face the difficulties to accustom to the new and unfamiliar surroundings different from their native place. They had fewer resources of their own,had to face challenges from the land and climate of the new place.By trial and error they learned to master the environment of the new lands and learned to live in it.

By 1700's settlements began to grew into smaller towns and cities., the main motive of this time was making money, many wars and uprisings between the European powers and with natives to have economic and political dominance,a search for cultural identity, looking for better living opportunities and improving the living conditions were the main concerns.
