America was able to win World War 2 because of its massive production capabilities. The American war industry had the ability to churn out astounding numbers of bombers, tanks and warships.

Being located across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans mean they were out of reach from enemy bombers from two of their enemies, the Germans and the Japanese. This production capability allowed them to deploy their Armies in war theatres in Europe and Asia.

The willingness to embrace new technologies, such as the atom bomb, was also crucial in helping America will World War 2.
