How to assess thyroid disorders medically and nutritionally? (please write in details)
We all know that the thyroid gland is an endocrine gland from where hormone secretion happens, this thyroid gland is located in the neck of our body. Basically two hormones named thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) are secreted from the thyroid gland. There is a standard limit of hormone secretion but when less amount of thyroxine hormone produced it's called Hypothyroidism and when more amount of thyroxine produced than the normal standard it's called hyperthyroidism , both of the disease is bad for health. And some other thyroid gland related diseases are Thyroid eye disease, Thyroid cancer, Nodules, etc
We can understand these disease by some symptoms like tiredness, depression, weight loss, anxiety, etc
Some medical symptoms are:
for hypothyroidism: fatigue, dry skin, constipation, feeling col, fluid retention, pain in muscle joint, puffy face, etc
for hyperthyroidism: tremor, fast heart, and pulse rate, intolerance for heat, poor sleep, increase sweating and also Grave's disease, toxic multinodular goiter, and more iodine consumption is also a vital symptom of hyperthyroidism
In the case of Thyroid Nodules, it mainly happens from cancer of the thyroid, clammy skin , nervousness, and the most alarming symptom is hair loss.
In the case of nutritional symptoms, the main thing is a huge amount of
i)VITAMIN D decrease, in case of hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism bone loss, happened, nutrients become decrease day by day.
ii)The most important nutrient which mainly found in thyroid gland is SELENIUM which takes a huge part in the immune system, cognitive function, fertility in both men and women, and mortality rate , this also decreases as a result huge problem created.
iii)Vitamin B12 decreases, as well as essential materials of our body, also decreases just like sodium , potassium which is very dangerous.
