Discuss the systematic and techniques errors present in Accelerated Motion Downhill lab experiment.

Solutions

Expert Solution

The errors involved are due to the delay in experiment apparatus. The systematic errors that may be involved are the error due to the photo gate reaction delay due to the electronic circuits, there is a possible error in timer also, which may lead to increase in the systematic error. The technique error is that we are considering that the air glide track is completely frictionless, and the cart does not have any air drag. All such dissipative forces are neglected which leads to build up small errors. These technique errors and systematic error plays together to have that total error in the experiment.
