This technology however over mechanical technologies can influents of higher quality that can be achieved with these systems for economic and ecological benefits. This systems becomes more attractive and acceptable other than mechanical technologies because of its ideal solution for point of use treatments with a demand of innovative and cost-effective methods.

Besides advantages of natural constructed wetland treatment over mechanical technologies, some disadvantages should be taken into account like requirement of larger land area are still higher, also there are some disturbances for seasonal variations for overall efficiency. In this system small fluctuations may occur anytime because of temperature variations. Nowa days it becomes a very challenging part because of deforestation and destruction of natural constructed wetlands for biodiversityfor conserving biological communities as natural treatment systems.
