what are the advantage and disadvantage of using the advanced technology in the field of engineering.
Answer- The advantage of using the advanced technology in the field of engineering.
1. Increased output: Large industries, with the help of automation of industries ,produce good use of engineering technology for large scale production effectively and efficiently..There has been tremendous increase in the industrial output, as a result of introduction of technology in the process of producing goods.
2. Business growth: Technology has positively impacted engineering with the advent of wide varieties of calculating and analysing techniques for counting, estimation cost and profit, etc. Technology has helped in all sphere of business activities such as manufacturing, selling, marketing, distribution, recording, etc.
3.Comfort: Technology had made life of engineers much more comfortable by making calculations and analysis easier.
4. Better utilization of resources: Modern tools and automation equipment has helped us to utilize the natural resources at optimum level and conserve resources for future.
5. Architectural development: Architectural, building and modern technology in engineering are now applied in designing urban skyscrapers, flyovers, and bridges. The most reliable, environment friendly building materials are available only because of advanced technology.
The disadvantages of Technology in the field of engineering are discussed below:
1. Depletion of natural resource reserves-Modern equipment are very powerful and harmful for natural resources. They can quickly extract huge quantity of natural resources which leads to their depletion.
2.Wastage of time- Technology has led to wastage of immense time and energy in doing non-productive activities. For example, the internet technology leads to unnecessary browsing and wasting time.
3. Excessive dependency: High degree of automation makes people dependent on technology for all of our task. People are excessively dependent of modern technology to an extent that it is impossible to performing simple manual tasks without the help of technology.
