The use of advanced technology is two sided.

Let' s see this with an example.

The most trending talk of today, artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence (AI) enables machine to decide logically to solve a problem. The positive affects are better algorithm, general problem solving with minimum human intervention, automation throughout the world.

Engineering is the application of science in technology to solve simple and complex problem which hinders the human race development. Application of AI in engineering enables solving of complex problem through the process of self learning. This improves the engineering quality which lead to better problem identification enabling beautiful results. This is only in terms of technology, but there will be huge changes in social, psychological and physical changes.

Now let's see the disadvantage of advanced technology in the field of engineering. Introduction of AI into engineering directed entire fund towards it thus damaging the balance between different engineering concepts that exist. The other disadvantage is that social relationship between people will deteriorate due to absurtly high relationship on the technology.

So finally advanced technology is required to live a smart life but care must be taken not to depend on it entirely. This is like a fire which lightens darkness and also engulfs everything when taken lightly.
