Breathing air heated to body temp. that contains contains 43.9 mg/L water vapor

Breathing cold winter air

Solutions

Expert Solution

Option (c) , Breathing air heated to body temperature that contain 43.9mg / L water vapour .

Humidity deficit can be better explained by ;- that if the atmosphere's relative humidity deficit is less than 100% , the air of the atmosphere has what is refered to as the humidity deficit . This is primary humidity deficit and the secondary deficit is teh moisture deficit in the inspired air that the nose and upper airway needs to compensate for when air is breathed into nasal cavity and heated to body temperature , its potential water vapor rises to 44mg / L that is the potential water vapor content of air at 37C

To avoid any drying of the respiratory tract , the inspired gas must be completely saturated at body temperature and carry 43.4mg / L of water vapour .
