use experimental equilibrium data and antoine equation to draw the equilibrium curve, and compare the results, what is antoine's equation and how do I use it
In this whole analysis we used saturated water between .01 C to 150 C.
Antoine's equation is used to calculate the saturation pressure in mmHg at corrosponding temperature in degree C.
In the above table the t and Psat values are experimental values of saturated water and Psat1 is the calculated values of saturated pressure using the Antoine's Equation. We can clearly see that the difference between experimental and calculated values is very less and is of the order of 10^-5.
Hence we can say that the experimental and calculated values are approximately are same.
In the above graph we can clearly see that the graph between the Experimental(Psat) and Calculated(Psat1) values are overlapping each other.
