If there is a non-profit center that provides free after school and low-cost summer programs for students from grades 3-12 then should it use an organic or mechanistic organisational structure?
How can it implement the structure?
Organic Organisation Structure:-The organic organisation Structure is decentralised approach and the main goal is to made a more homogeneous culture of employees. In this structure, employees are encouraged to work together and coordinating the flow of information and duties.Teams develop with communication working across teams in a horizontal trends.
Mechanistic Organisation Structure:-The mechanistic structure is
a centralised leadership approach and strives to have main job
descriptions for everyone. The structure is more clearly explained
as a grading with leadership delegating specific roles and
tasks.
The non-profit center which provides low cost summer programs for
the students should use Organic Organisation Structure for the
development of creative elements and team work among the
students.
