Delegation means extending the power of one person to another. Delegation of judicial powers to administrative agencies refers to extending the judicial power to the administrative agencies.
Advantages:
1) It saves judiciary's time without any way, undermining its overall responsibility.
explanation- when the authority of the judiciary is extended to the administrative agencies, it will certainly save the time of the judiciary as it will have less burden as compared to before without complete ly transferring it's authority.
2) It is conducive to flexibility
Explanation- when the authority gets delegated from judiciary to administration, it leads to flexibility because after delegation, if there will be any changes in the legislation, then it can be easily implemented and adapted by the people.
3) It permits the utilisation of expert knowledge
explanation- Delegation in this case will also help in efficient utilisation of the knowledge of the people at subordinate levels. Whenever the powers are centralised within one hand, the knowledge possessed by different people at subordinate levels cannot be utilised.
4) Fast decision - making
Explanation- Whenever the authority is delegated from the judiciary to the administrative agencies, there will be absolutely fast decision - making as any decision would not have to go through a long chain of authorities, the decision could be taken at a lower level itself.
