The common pattern of development of Alzheimer's from it's
initial stage until the severity are:
- Stage 1: Preclinical Alzheimer's
- The symptoms are very mild ,it includes minor forgetting of
names, places were things are kept in day to day life. A medical
examination at this stage may not show a dementia, however, studies
indicate that Alzheimer's may occur twenty yeard before it starts
showing it's symptoms.At this stage the symptoms are almost or
present in a very negligible way.
- Stage 2: Mild to Moderate Cognitive Decline
- The symptoms of this stage include person's inability to
remember names and words,finds difficulty in making decisions.Has
poor jWudgement ability,even forgets ones own basic details. Shows
less interest in social interactions and avoids them ,aloofs
oneself or withdraws oneself from the world .The medical at this
stage can diagnose the onset of dementia in a clear cut way.
- Stage 3 : Severe Cognitive Decline
- The symptoms of this stage are severe, the brain looses it's
controlling power,the dementia at this stage aggravates into
severity,the the person forgets who s/ he is, is completely
lost.The person even looses control over bowl movement.The normal
day to day life activities becomes an impossible task, even forgets
how to eat and swallow. These factors leads to weakness and serious
illness that takes away the life of the person suffering from
Alzheimer's.
