This movie focuses on the lives of several American financial professionals who can predict financial crisis in advance and makes profit from it. The story revolves around Steve Eisman of FrontPoint partners, Greg Lippmann- a bond trader from Deutsche Bank, Michael Burry- a hedge fund manager and Jared vennet and housing crisis of 2008. It is a dramatic movie of true events.

The financial crisis is highly complex but they managed to explain it all in the 2 hour movie. They used a simple but stylistic approach to define it.
There are several scenes which aids the audience to learn complexity of financial world.
The movie is funny and will keep you gripped throughout.
It sheds light on economic events that still resonate today.
The crisis profited the main characters of the movie but it affected grievously on the common people.
Movie reflects on the fact that when some prosper others suffer.
It is really enjoyable movie but leaves you in a state of rage which is exactly the director intended.
The movie gives awareness on the complexity of wall street.
The film deciphers the complex financial crisis while entertaining its audience.
