Social Services needed during a Pandemic

Pandemic is an epidemic over a wide geographical area and affecting a large proportion of the population. It can affect the normal life of people in the particular area. For example , the Pandemic COVID 19 , affected the normal life , travelling, outside dining, buisiness, transportation , education , employment etc. Provision of Basic ssocial services such as food, medicine, safe water, security, shelter , monetary needs educational needs are essential during Pandemic.  

Agencies , that helpful for ensuring Social services during Pandemic:

* NGOs : Non Governmental Organisations

Many Non Governmental Organisations engaged in food supply activities to the needy people in the affected area. They provide free food , running community kitchens and public restaurants in a reduced rates etc. Also many are engaged in supplying the Medicines for the needy on their door steps.

* Corporate companies: Global economies got affected badly due to the Pandemic, especially in current COVID 19 situation. Not only big companies but also small local buisiness projects, shops, street vendors all lost their profit. Financial burden and poverty hits many areas of the county. Corporate companies came forward to donate to the Governments and to other small buisiness projects, start - Ups etc. Funds are provided for ensuring the food supply to the certain slum areas or cities' outskirts.  

* Governmental agencies:

Governmental Agencies or the Federal Agencies also took part on mitigating the effects of Pandemic by providing the public health education, ensuring medical supplies and supply of basic treatment for patient's with health alignments. Example: Center for Disease Control and Prevention , plays a major role in Federal health by controlling the untrue information, disseminating proper health information , instructions on social distance and control of social events etc.

* Mental health Agencies:

Various Mental health Agencies provides Mental health services to the public, especially during the Pandemic crisis. Many suffered with Mental health crisis during Pandemic due to the sudden death and disease of the loved ones. Many national and international Mental health Agencies, support groups helped the victims through Counselling and visiting and spending time with them.

* National and International Voluntary organisations and voluntary health Agencies helped the victims and their families with the supplies of food , medicine , shelter camps, medical tests, provision of Medicines etc.
