Archaebacteria have both aerobic as well as anaerobic forms. They also depend on the lipids for various functions that are related to the polar lipids. They can extract nutritional sources from variety of sources such as metal ions , hydrogen, sugars or sunlight. Eubacteria can also be referred to as prokaryotic bacteria. These reproduce by binary fission , though some might be reproducing by budding. The differences between eubacteria and archaebacteria are as follows:

• In archaebacteria, the core of rna polymerase contains 10 subunits whereas in eubacteria the core architecture is composed of 4 subunits.
• Eubacteria some species are pathogenic whereas, archaebacteria do not show pathogenicity.
• Archae show commensalism as well as mutual relationships with other species whereas eubacteria show predatory, mutual, as well as pathogenic relationships.
• In archae, oeotidoglycan is absent, and there is presence of ether like lipids which have branched chains, whereas, In eubacteria, peptidoglycan is present and there are Ester like lipids which form structures of straight chain.
