Which is NOT a way in which prokaryotes are useful to humans? ..................................d) none of the above

Microbes are useful in production of antibiotics which are used for treatment of various diseases. Microbes like Lactobacillus produce yogurt. Several other food items like sauerkraut, kimchi (also alcoholic beverages) are produced with the help of microbes. Microbes like Rhizobium form symbiotic relationships with legume crops. They help in fixing the atmospheric N2 into ammonical form which is used by plants. In this way, the plant growth as well as soil fertility is improved. Thus, they help in increasing crop yields. In fact, Rhizobial strains are also used for commercial production of biofertilizers.

The best way to describe genetic diversity in humans is by describing it as a geographic component of ancestry. That is, human populations gradually change in their allele frequencies in many cases with high geographic precision. This actually makes any differentiation or split into groups very hard. Is this statement true or false?

In a certain article, laser therapy was discussed as a useful alternative to drugs in pain management of chronically ill patients. To measure pain threshold, a machine was used that delivered low-voltage direct current to different parts of the body (wrist, neck, and back). The machine measured current in milliamperes (mA). The pretreatment experimental group in the study had an average threshold of pain (pain was first detectable) at μ = 3.28 mA with standard deviation σ = 1.26 mA....

We know that as humans we are going to make mistakes. There is simply no way around that fact. Should we be nervous about making errors? As auditors, what should we think when we see an error? In other words, when we see an error, do we always think fraud? Is there a way to tell the difference? Is an auditor responsible for finding errors?
