Globalization has an effect on overall human health. The way we eat in America has expanded to other countries, such as Jamaica. The country now has fast food outlets like KFC and Wendy’s available, this was previously not part of the Jamaican diet. Discuss the health implications of globalization at a population level and provide at least two examples of how this impacts health.

a.) Fast food chains and beverages like Burger King, Pepsi, McD etc have exposed our people towards these sugary food. Youth is far more enthusiased with the development.

Such food choices in the long run bring in lifestyle diseases, decreases immunity and increased lethargy.

b.)Health adversaries products like tobacco. guthka, etc got commercisied. They are carcinogenic and increases the disease burden of the country.

c.) Increased trade results into exposure with deadly strains of bacteria like the recent Covid-19 which is still taking toll.
