Does globalization affect the physicians in a negative way like the way it has affected so many workers in the factories ?
Globalization will not affect physicians negatively, because they cater people who need health care services, and number of these people increase with the globalization and subsequent movement of labor force from one country to another country. It is true that more physicians will also come from other nations, but it will be very less in numbers in comparison to the people from other trade to come to the country. So, demand of physicians will always be high and globalization will not affect. Besides, physicians offer services and all the physicians do not offer the same quality of services. Hence, a reputed physician will never be affected due to the its quality of services and brand building already developed among the people.
In contrast to it, workers in the factories suffer due to globalization, because either the production work is outsourced, or the labor market in their industry has become very competitive due to migrant workers. Besides, increase in imports, is also one of the reasons for their problems. Such problems are not taking place for physicians in the wake of globalization. So, it is not affecting them negatively.
