Discuss the differences in friendships between women and those between men.

Men’s friendships will to be more “instrumental” and even little less emotional, whereas the women friends are very likely emotional than men and tend to share the feelings and emotions of each other. Men’s friendships are basically based on the shared activities and even more “transactional” – and working together group work on projects.men’s friendships and found to have reciprocity with material goods and services (e.g., exchanging tools, cars), while middle class men were more likely to share leisure activities, travel or attending sporting events. In other words, men share activities, women mostly share feelings..

On the whole, women basically invest more in maintaining their friendships – by calling them up regularly, frequent meeting, chatting etc. Men, on the other hand, don’t feel so much that they need to stay in touch. Women cannot stay long without their friends but men can do that..

For the most part, men’s friendships are very less supportive and intimate than women friendships..
