Imperialism is a political system under which rich and powerful countries dominate other countries which are economically poor and less powerful compared to them. The purpose of this political system is the hidden agendaof the rich and powerful nations to become dominate the poor countries by making them politically and strategically behind. The imperialist nations even use military force to achieve their target and there by they used gain control over political and economic aspects of the poor countries.

Imperialism is immoral. It is quiet unnecessary. It resulted the flow of whatever limited amount of wealth and the other resources of those countries had,  to the capitalist countries. Imperialism could only help nations to compete each other, to make concflicts ad there by distroying the peace of the world.  The only positive impact of imperialism was the increase of food production.  

In the begining it was the European colonial powers who benefited from imperialism. But even now the United States continue to be imperialistic in nature. Martin Luther King Junior called the American Government " the greatest purveyor of violence in the word today". The following are the reasons behind US imperialism.

a. economic competition between industrial nations.

b. Political and military competition

c. A belief in the racial and cultural speriority

Writer and playwright Ramaiah has expressed his deep concern over the growing cultural warfare by American imperialism inorder to have a strong hold over the world. He even undelined the need for exploring appropriate ways to fight against such a dangerous situation. According to him its high time to think about human centric politics instead of any class or creed dominated .  

US imperialism, and the pressure of it influences India's plolicies, especially in the economic sector and it mostly affects the working class of the country. Imperialists never have any social concern and all their moves will be behind making maximum profits.

George Floyd, a 46 year old, African - Americal was the latest victim of US imperialism. According Dr. Martin Luther King 'riots are the languageof the unheard". Floyd is the third unarmed black citizen died by the hands of white police men within four months period.
