Light pollution :- light pollution is excessive , misdirected and obstrusive artificial light.

Types of light pollution:-

1. Glare

2. Light tresspass

3. Skyglow

When we haven't invented artificial light we could walk away in a clear night sky light . We could see the beauty of it . But due to excessive light pollution 3 out of 4 person living in the cities are now unaware of its beauty.

Effects of light pollution:-

1. Affacting ecosystem:- it has serious and negative impact on plant and animal physiology . This pollution is disrupting the ecological dynamics . It confusing the migratory pattern of wild life .

2. Health issues:- humans are dependent on the natural body cycle called circadian rhythms . These rhythms are regulated by dark and light ( day and nights) . So while sleeping in light melatonin production can be suppressed which can lead sleeping disorders .

3. It also leads to the energy wastage .. yes we are using the lighting in a very unuseful way which is preventing most of the people in the world to get electricity.
