Throughout history, the ability to communicate or inability to communicate has led misunderstandings, wars, alliances and treaties.
1. Discussion, define and comment barriers to effective communication.
The complexity of the world is evident when examining the cultural differences of Health care providers and patients .Once we accept the fact that we do not all think alike, we can strive to understand each other.
2. How ours differences affect patient care? There is any limitation in the Patient-Doctor relation? why?
ANS 1. BARRIERS TO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION:
ANS 2. IF THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HEALTH CARE WORKERS AND PATIENTS THEN IT MIGHT AFFECT PATIENTS HEALTH BECAUSE PATIENT MIGHT NOT AGREE FOR THE TREATMENT THAT THE HEALTH WORKER WANT TO GIVE. THIS WILL AFFECT THE PATIENTS HEALTH BECAUSE PATIENT MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO BUILD UP TRUST, LOYALTY ETC TOWARDS DOCTORS/HEALTH WORKERS.YES, THERE IS LIMITATIONS IN THE PATIENT DOCTOR RELATIONSHIP. THESE LIMITATIONS CAN BE BECAUSE OF TIME CONSTRAINTS, THE SPACE THAT BOTH WANT FROM EACH OTHER, THE MEETING OF PATIENT i.e. NEW PATIENT OR KNOWN PATIENT.
