We have discussed a number of ethical theories this semester, including 1) Virtue Ethics, 2) Utilitarianism, 3) Deontology (Kantianism), 4) Just Consequentialism (Moor), and 5) Social Contract Theory (Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, and Rawls). Choose two of these 5 ethical theories and discuss in detail how you think each of the two theories apply to the issue of whistleblowing, devoting one paragraph to each theory. Be sure to provide several specific examples that demonstrate how the chosen ethical theories apply to whistleblowing.

Answer (1) Whistleblower is a traitor because they are historically being considered as troublemakers by many companies as they openly enclose strategies in front of public of the company.

Answer (2) Moral obligation of whistleblower is to make company image intact so that whistleblower can do other activities by protecting interest of company.

Moral obligation of employer is to make whistleblower identity in anonymous way in order to protect interest of whistleblower. Whistleblower also be given full protection from person whose complaint is being registered.

Answer (3) Issue of national security refers to circumstances that occur when whistleblower shows record of wrong activities in front of public, that is like revealing sensitive information to people which might became issues of national security.
