Types of data: are they nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio? And are they categorical or continuous?
Turnover intentions (1=never through 7= frequently) - my answers are ordinal and continuous. Incorrect: here the data of turnover intentions is measured in ordered categories i.e never though to frequently and named from 1 to 7. Also 1 to 7 are just the names and not numerical measures of those categories and we don't know the distance between the categories. Hence its not continuous. It is categorical. Correct answer : Ordinal and categorical.
Summary: Ordinal data is categorical.
