Deforestation a major environmental issue:

Deforestation means losing of trees and other vegetations which potentially can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increasing in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and a host of problems for indigenous people. Deforestation is a threat to biodiversity.

The possible issues arising due to deforestation:

1. Increasing food insecurities in future:

Deforestation will lead to increase in food in securities in future when there will be very less land left for agriculture purpose.

2. Effect on local people's livelihood:

There are many local people in around the world who are dependent on healthy forest for supporting the livelihoods. Due to deforestation these people are unable to cope up with the the change and is affecting their life.

3. The major effect on biodiversity: biodiversity is found mainly in forest. And deforestation is causing the maximum threat to biodiversity. From mammals to birds, insects, amphibians,or plants etc, they all are found in forest and deforestation are causing their lives at risk.

4. Soil erosion: roots are are bound to hold soil and afforestation weekends and degrades the soil due to decrease in roots which are holding the soil.

5. Climatic changes: environment has developed a suitable climatic weather cycle and forests play an important role in circulating the climate properly. Due to deforestation water cycle is affecting and also climate changes are majorly effecting.

Seeing the the current situation of deforestation and unlimited threads in current and future from deforestation various countries Government have taken steps to reduce the effect of deforestation and deforestation too. Programs like, plant more trees, less plastic usage, Less Non Biodegradable products usage, etc are being Run around the world to save the environment. Becoming online and less paperwork is also one of the factor in helping reduce deforestation.

Along with that, because of highly changed living conditions in today's Era, there are certain barriers in protecting and restoring forest.

Like economic growth, increasing population, changed Lifestyle like using products which increases the eviction of greenhouse gases in the environment, etc.

These potential problems are are difficult to solve as we are already so equipped with getting things done as per our comfort.
