Ans) Linear programming is depends upon the condtions of certainty.

Linear programming :  It is one of the most important and most popular and most popular quantitative tools used in operations reasearch. It is widely applied in several functional areas of business such as production, finance, marketing, distribution, advertising, administration, defence and so forth. It is a method for selecting an optimal combination of factors from a series of interrelated alternative, each subjective to limitation. It involves the development of linear equations to obtain the best solution for the allocation problem. The available resources are allocated to the activities in such a way that it will optimize the effectiveness.

One of the fundamental assumption of linear programming is a certainty i.e. the parameters of objective function coefficients and the coefficients of the constraint inequalities is known with certainty.

The parameters values are assumed to be known constants. The model assumes that the responses to the values of the variables are exactly equal to the responses represented by the cofficients. So liner programming rely upon the conditons of certainty.

Few of theapplication of linear programming occur under vaccums, completely seperated from uncertainty.

Modify Account Class(Java programming) used in the exercises such that ‘add’ and ‘deduct’ method could only run if the account status is active. You can do this adding a Boolean data member ‘active’ which describes account status (active or inactive). A private method isActive should also be added to check ‘active’ data member. This data member is set to be true in the constructor, i.e. the account is active the first time class Account is created. Add another private method...
