Answer:- linerar programming is generally used for getting optimal solutions for operation research. It helps researcher to obtain best economical solution. Linear programming is used in agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, energy and engineering.

(1) Business manager :- Managers use linerar programming equation to make purchases,evaluate raises, for calculating measuremnets and to decide how much staff is needed for specific work done. It is used in real estate, purchasing and agriculture, by funeral director etc. For example :- advertising manager use linear equation in online ad campaign buget which is based on cost per click.

(2) Resource manager :- Human resource manager and store clerks use linear equation programming techniques. They use for calculation of payroll, purchase without the use of calculators. It is used when placing orders for products and supplies and to find minimum cost for an order after considering volume discounts.
