In order to become a nutritionalist or a dietetian we must chose science as the main subject in 12 standard to get the base,usually there is no entrance test for the undergraduate courses or post graduate level courses in dietetion or nutrition.There are many recognized university/colleges which is providing this purticular course.

Once after the complesion of required educational qualification and skills to become a nutritionalist there are a variety of job oppurtunities waiting for you.

Food service nutritionalist(they usually work in the school cafetarias,resturents and large scale food establishments)
Clinical nutritionalist(they work in the medical settings such as hospitals)
Sports nutritionalist(They work with athletes and coaches)
Public nutritionalist(they are focusing on public and providing the warenee related to the nutritional defeciencies and its preventions)
Consultant Nutritionalist(They reviews a patient's current eating habits and welfare goals such as losing weight and treating a disease).
Gereatric Nutritionalist ( they are mainly focusing on the oldage people's food and nutrition)
Padiatric nutritionalist(They focus on the nutritional health of the childrens)
