Draw a concept map that connects the following physics phenomena into a logical structure:

  • Electric fields

  • Magnetic fields

  • Electric currents

  • Permanent magnets

  • Light

  • The electromagnetic spectrum

  • Electric charges

Solutions

Expert Solution

The concept map is as follow-

Light is an electromagnetic wave which has has electromagnetic spectrum i.e. it contains lower to higher frequency waves. EM wave contains electric and magnetic field. Electric field is created by stationary electric charge and moving electric charge. Moving electric charge creates electric current (rate of charge flow). Magnetic field is created via moving charge. Magnetic field can also be created by using permanent magnet which has net magnetic moment. It also exist in absence of external magnetic field.

I will be glad to see your comment if you have any query and thumb up if you are satisfied. Thanks....
