Media convergence refers to taking the traditional mass media to the digital platforms thus reaching far more audience and making it convenient to the growing tech savvy new generation. One of the most important mass media that made it into the digital platforms is newspapers. Most of the newspapers, although continue to exist in print form have also moved to the digital platforms while some have entirely moved to the digital platform. Secondly, television has moved to the digital platform from the regular cables and satellite channels to the internet thus entering into mobile phones, laptops, tablets etc.
