Intervention programs are very important in childhood as it can help children in developing good behaviour and attitude as they get older.Initial stages of a child are very sensitive and important in shaping the child in cognitive,behavioural,social and self regulatorycapacities.Early childhood intervention programs show improvement in academic achievement,educational progress ,delinquency and crime.school based prevention programs have come into existence such as educating children on child abuse,substance abuse,helping children cope with violence and trauma,child speak up be safe programs.Childhood is the ealry onset of habits and behaviours they pick up from family and sorrounding environment.Certain intervention programs include parents and educators to educate children on moral reasoning. It is easier for a child to get rid of hard habits and control them in childhood ,as they get into adolescent period children fight for their identity.Childhood can be the onset of self discipline,school success,ability to make good decision in risky situations,conflict negotiation and build healthy relationships with family and friends.
