Nursing interventions for toodlers age group include -

1. A prepare parent and child for hospitalization . - promote parents child relationship by limiting seperation , determine routine for toilet, feeding , bath, , ask parent to bring child favourite toy.

2. Minimize seperation anxiety and other emotional traumas during hospitlization. - it includes parental visit , parental involvement with care, provide emotional support.

3.should learn about sphincter control adequate when child can walk

4. Can retain urine for atleast 2 hours.

5. Psychologic remedies -- aware of act of elimination, desire to please parents.

6. Health promotion done by -- play alongside other children will not be there , danger associated with toys , suggested toys. Proper nutrition should be given.

Nursing interventions for family are --

1. First level assessment includes -

A. Presence of wellness condition - ex healthy lifestyle , breastfeeding, parenting, etc .

B. Presence of health threats -- ex risk factors of disease, accident hazards, unhealthy diet , stress factors, poor hygiene, lack of immunization .

C. Presence of health deficits -- illness , disability , etc .

D. Presence of stress points .

2. Second level assessment --

A. Inability to recognise the presence of problem, to make decisions for healthy state , failure to utilise community resources.
