Should employers be able to fire workers based on what they post on social media? Why or why not?
It depends on the content of the posts. If the posts are inflammatory, inappropriate, sexual or graphic in nature, then yes, the company and the employers should be able to fire the workers from their jobs.
After all, the workers represent the company and when they post inappropriate messages which can be considered as inflammatory, then it shows the company in bad light oo. It can create serious issues for the company and it is better for the company to distance itself from such employees.
