Explain how you would differentiate Corporate Social Responsibilities & Business Ethical Responsibilities (hypothetically) in practice in Telenor Pakistan.
The Corporate social responsibility is the company's initiative to assess and take the responsibility for the company's impact on the environment and the impact on social welfare for which the company has taken following initiative in order to fulfil its corporate social responsibility-
a- Contributing towards society- The company by providing its very effective and effecient services is making its effective contribution towards the society as this way its fulfilling the needs and demand of the society by providing them with the required services which help them with full satisfaction and thus proves to be contributing towards society.
b- Respecting employee's- The company treat its staff as not just as staff but as the essential element of the business by fully recognising their effort and contribution made by them and respecting them by making them feel valued as they are also a valuable part of the company working an operation
c- Global environment protection- The company in order to carry out its activities to provide its services to the society has also kept in mind the impact of its activities towards the environment and thus have always choosen with the activities has in no way impact the surrounding and its environment to provide a healthy green environment to live in.
The company along with having Corporate social responsibilty have its responsibility toawards the business ethics i.e its responsibility towards the business code of conduct, as the company has a zero tolerance for corruption the company promotes proper and legal business practices and reflects relevant laws, regulations and internationally recognized standards.
