The main leading cause cause of mortality in the us include heart disease ,diabetes and cancer rest include pneumonia and influenza .In the us most common infection was respiratory infection in 2014 which caused 80% of total death when it comes to Cancer it remained the No. 2 killer of Americans in 2018, accounting for 21.1% of overall deaths. Its fatality rate fell from 152.5 in 2017. Heart disease remained the top killer in the U.S. in 2018, accounting for 23.1% of registered deaths. The three most common preventable causes of death in the population of the United States are smoking, high blood pressure, and being overweight.According to a new report from the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution, an estimated 196,930 Americans lost their lives prematurely to pollution in 2017.

When it comes to mexico the main causes of the mortality include cardiovascular diseases (25.5%), endocrine, nutritional, and metabolic diseases (17.5%), and malignant tumors (13%).Nutritional problems were comparetively high than us due to poor economic state of the country the health system of Mexico is comparetively low than the us resulting in increased mortality due to various diseases.Mexico have high infectious diseases than the us like malaria, dengue, hepatitis.

So when comparing Mexico and Us Mexico have more mortality rate in infectious diseases .whenit comes to the us more prominent ones are stroke cancer and diabetes. The mortality rate of infants is also much high in mexico.
