A student was in her final term of coding and health information technology classes. She couldn’t wait to
graduate from one of the highest regarded HIT programs in her state. She planned to take her
Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) shortly after graduation. The student heard how
challenging it was to find a job after graduation with no experience. Her best friend, was already
working in the field. She gave her the name of a contact at the state health information management
(HIM) association to see if they needed help at the annual convention next month. Angela called the
number, and much to her delight, they could use her help! In return for her volunteering, she was
allowed free admission to the convention. During the convention, Angela met a lot of industry
professionals, but had difficulty connecting with them due to her being so nervous! To make matters
worse, most of the people she met were wearing nice business attire and she was not.

1. How should Angela use this opportunity to network? What should she do before the conference to be
better prepared?

Ans-1)Angela have chance to make her network strong.she has opportunity to communicate with the industry professional.also she has opportunity to learn the skills regarding to state health information management.she need a confidence on her,that she is able do this,also she need to develop the attitude regarding to his work.also she need to focus on dressing codes.bussiness attire are important but focus on skills are more than this.she need to thinks possitive.

2)If i am working as HIM maneger I approched angela to work in the HIM, because she is learning about coding.In the health information management coders are generally assign for procedure and Dignostic codes for patients record for different form of library.so she have knowledge about the coding and HIM.also she is registered HIM.so it's better to give her apportunity.

3)Angela have knowledge about the HIM and coding.coding is important for HIM.also she is registered for health information management.she need done her graduation and also Improve the skills regarding the HIM.so she could be chance to noticed.also she improve the communication skills, technical skills, leadership skills.
