1, culture is a human lifestyle with a group of people that
wider the social group, that make interact with each other. it is a
belief and artifacts of a group towards the social structure.
cultural history tells about human past life and place, their
beliefs, ideas, and experience in everyday life. it differs with
attitude, values, prejudices and rituals, and practice. culture
history shapes our understanding of the world. culture invented
many years ago, in 19th-century British anthropologist Edward Tylor
originated the idea of culture that includes the moral, beliefs,
law, and custom. culture is a behavior that is different among the
various populations of people. cultural differences vary with
beliefs, languages, practice, and expression among specific
ethnicity, race, or national origin.
2, culture worldview focus on individual behavior that causes
conflicts with various behavior, attitudes, and moral and beliefs
within their group. identity are part of every human life in the
culture worldwide, it makes sense of identity that provide
information for us. different ideas, meaning, goals that make
conflicts. beliefs and assumptions from everyone make sense of
experience that hidden with language and traditions of the society,
this culture has a set of goals and rules around us to share the
cultural meaning. cultural values, beliefs, and social practices
from various cultures marked as a special culture within their
society. The US has individual culture, non-US culture are
collectivist, they are focus on group and group relationship is a
major value for them.
3, the first language is English and the second language is Spanish
and french. the non-american group mixed the language Spanish,
English at home. Spanish language used by mass immigration from
Latin Americans. they used nonverbal communication like eye
contact, hand movements, touch, gestures, and facial expressions,
that differ from one culture to another. verbal communication using
language by written messages and sign language and code information
that focus on a particular language.
4, family structure mostly nuclear family and decrease of extended
families, they are mostly unmarried, remarried, divorce families,
single mothers, and homosexual families. family system change in
different cultures. they provide more preference for blood relation
and respecting family members.
