Does God’s law really give authority to man’s law?
According to the biblical teachings, God's law is above all other laws. There have been many times when the law of the land clashes with biblical laws. According to many followers of Christianity, man's laws are important to make people follow ethical codes while interacting with others, and act kindly with their neighbours. However, if the man's law clashes with the teachings of the bible, the laws ought to be changed through due process, so that it is in accordance with the godly teachings. Also, man's law may not be adequate to fulfill God's laws. For example, missionaries take the charge of helping the needy, providing shelter homes, and encouraging moral conduct. These acts of kindness make God's laws above the law of the land for those who are believers. So, the God's law does give authority to man's law as long as the laws of the land are in accordance with the religious teachings.
