Three parental approaches are: Authoritarian Style - Where the parents set up rules for kids, and direct them as per they (parents) think. Authoritative Style - Here the parent tries to build positive relationship with kid, explain lot of reasons behind rules - I prefer this style, since my parents had this tsyle - though my father was strictbut he did explains reasons for being strict and scolfing us. My mother always built a positive relationship with me as well was establied some rules, they taught me to be happy rather than being acheiver, I was given freedom, choice in a very young age. I was confident when I went to college and loved whatever I did since it was of my choice. Today I make good decisions. and Permissive style - Here thec parents, are more of a friend than being parent. They cannot enfore rules, and would forgive kids more often.

Self esteem is totally related to thinking, a person with greater self esteem is able to do the tasks more efficiently, he faces challeges happily.person with lower self esteem may feel it as burden to face task or he/she may be tensed. It is seen that in organizations, one (A) who earns more sometimes has lower self esteem than a person (B) who is not earning much. In this case, person B even if achieves less thinks that has acheived more sue to high self esteem. Reverse is the case with person B.Hence self esteem is for internal satisfaction or happiness.
