Cultural approach to organization is the humanistic face at an organization by considering artifacts, values, and assumptions. These are because of the interactions of organizational members. Artifacts are the norms, standards, and customs in an organizational communication.

Cultural explanations occurs when faced with the facts of social inequality. Individuals, social groups, communities, ethnicities, genders, all maintains an unequal relationships to the facts of cultural change. Some people, groups, communities have more power over the content of culture than others.

In the excerpt “The Code of the Street,” the street culture has evolved as code of the streets, which amounts to a set of informal rules governing interpersonal public behavior, including violence. The rules suggest both a proper comportment and a proper way to respond if challenged. They maintains the the use of violence and so allow those who are inclined to aggression to precipitate violent encounters in an approved way.
