• The implementation and use of automatic dispensing cabinet of medication has to be installed. This can easily enable to identify what type of medication is dispensed for whom and in what quantity .
• Cross checking and double check the prescription before dispensing the medication .In case of any doubts contact the supervisor or the concerned healthcare provider who prescribed the medication especially if it is controlled substances

8.2_To maintain currency of safe work practice in Clinical Record Management System are

• Regular and periodic audits and stock taking records to manage the clinicsk record
• Inventory of the medication as per the guidelines and maintaining the records of it separately for each category of drugs .
