Voice recognition software is an application which make use of speech recognition algorithm built on natural language processing algorithm identify spoken words and then either complete a task or translate the spoken words into text as this software analyse the sound and type it out

It is beneficial in healthcare system -

1) Save time and reduce paper work - it become easier for health care member by using voice recognition software as they dictate the daily data or information of patient which automatically typed it out and no need of paper work, thus saving time of doctors and nurses and also reduce paper work as it take time to write or type out notes but with it is easier and quicker to speak them aloud.

2) Increased productivity and improve security -- due to reduced paper work , doctors and nurses have more time to spend on patient care and productivity of health care facilities improve in perception of patient care , also improve security of health records as chances of misplacing of paper work is not in it and errors is writing or typing is reduced as it is automatic.

3) Minimizing need for live agents - because it is possible for caller to enter information such as name and reason for calling without need for interacting with live agents , thus need less nurses and staffs to be on phones all time for information and can provide more time to patients .

4) Reusable data - voice data can be used like any other data can be. It can be reuse any time as recorded as electronic health records

5) Flexibility - it is easy to move the voice data from one place to other place without any risk of misplacing , errors and changes in data and voice data isn't linked to a single data and enhance overall health care .

6)Minimal risk of errors because better clinical hand off means less medical errors as automatically software type it out what is said aloud without creating any error .
