Answer :- As per survey in upto March 2020 There were one million active physicians in United States

But specialists are only 6 lakhs approx.

So need of specialists increased inU.S.A

There is in small town rural areas and cities proportion of general physicians v/s sepcalist is not equal these areas hospital have shortage of sepicalized professionals so U.S.A health agencies working how to increase sepcalist they

taking seminars and many more educational workshops to improve and resolve this condition.

Sepcalist

A medical specialist is a branch of medical practice, which focus on particular group of patient , disease or philosophy

For exmaple :- children = Paediatricians

Cancer = oncologists

Laboratory medicine = pathologists

After completing medical education , as general physician they go for speciality of medicine.

A sepcalist have in-depth knowledge of a particular patient , or a particular organ disorder.

A sepcalist needs more in metropolitan cities and developed countries .

So U.S.A needs more specialists beacuse they focus on a particular disease which helps in quality care of patients .

They work as a surgeon so however the need of a specialist increase day by day .

V/S

General physicians :-

General physician are highly qualified trained who provide a range of non surgical care health care to adult patients .

They care difficult serious medical conditions and continue observing the patient till he recovered or problem resolved.

Conculsion :-

Sepcalist have low scope they do not work anywhere , also risk in surgery many person feel phobia from blood .

So they will choose general physician and avoid specialisation in a particular area.

InU.SA increase demand of specialist due to shortage of specialists in ratio to general physicians
