The Covid 19 pandemic has created great impact on mankind .The wait for vaccination has come to an end and still under research stage in certain countries .On the grounds of ethical principle of beneficence it has its own pros and cons

Pros :

1. The administration of the vaccine will bring a halt to the spreading infection worldwide and reduce the rate of infection.
2. It can save the population from the healthcare expenditure ,healthcare staffs to have decreased workload ,save over usage if healthcare resources
3. Mitigation of fear and anxiety towards the infection
4. Reduction of financial loss to the government and utilize it for public relief funds and for recovery

Cons

1. The risk of adverse effects Ianthe future .This is because any vaccination which is invented takes approximately 12-18years in trail and then being approved after ensuring its safety. This short time invention of COVID 19vaccines has no such evidence of long term or the recommended trail period in research .
2. Booster dose may be required in order to prove its efficiency and act in the immune system to produce immunity against the infection
3. The cost of the vaccines is expected to be high in the near future ,when the government does not undertake the cost of it and when it is let to the public themselves to get vaccinated.
