A) We can choose the Hockey , which is a lacrosse sport . Its a team game which involves the atheletics and alot of exercise and players pass on the ball by stick . In this sport , there is alot of running and concentration and delelop the creativity of handling the stick and develop the strong , dynamics defensive tricks and maintain the coordination and teaches the leadership skills .

Hockey is a game in which the movement of hip muscles and joints are involved . In this game , when the player wants to play lateraly means side by side they have the arms movement along with the hips joints .

The movement involving the hips abduction , rotation which is either external or internal , extension

The movements along with the muscles and their actions that are used in the hip joint are as following -

1)Adduction - It is the movement of the part of the body towards the body's midline . The muscles involved in this are   brevis and magnus, gracilis and pectineus , adductors longus

2) Flexion - It is the movement that decrease the angle between two parts of the body . The range of flexion is increased as the hamstring muscles got relaxed and this is happened on the degree to which the flexion at the hip occur which is epend upto the the knee flexed . The muscles involved are saetorius , pectineus , iliopsoas ,rectus femoris .

3) Lateral rotation -In this the femur in the hip joint is externally rotate with the help of the sex small muscles and they are    gemili and quadratus , biceps femoris , gluteus maximus and also obturator .

4) Abduction - In this movement the leg is moved away from the midline of the body and it helps in standing , walking and rotating your legs . The muscles that involved are gluteus minimus , piriformis and tensor fascia latae .

5) Extension - It is the movement that lenghtens the front of your hip . The muscles involved are semimembranosus , biceps femoris , gluteus maximus .

The iliofemoral ligament along with the joint capsule , it will restrict the extension of hip joints .

2) The strength training exercise of the major muscles are weightlifting , squat , the bicep curl , which help in hockey in starting and ending poistions and different range of motions . The exercise have different phases in which muscles shorten on the way up is the concentric contraction phase , in concentric have the movements that target the muscles to perform action by lifting and move and producing muscles mass .  The muscles lenghten on the way down by the under load by moving the active muscles is the eccentric contraction phase .

1) Biceps curl - It is the exercise that is the series of exercise that involves branchioradialis , front deltoid and the main target on biceps branchii . It has both phases concentric and eccentric contraction phase . The exercise have different phases in which muscles shorten on the way up is the concentric contraction phase and the muscles lenghten on the way down .

2) Squat -   In this training , the person lowers their hips from a postion of standing and then stands back up . mIt will mainly target the thights which quadriceps and hamstrings and the glutes and maintain the core strength . In this excercise the concentric phase is short in which the muscles to work against opposingthe forces that produce the movement . The eccentric phase ,  the still muscles tension but the lesser degree as the muscles want to get strength .
