The term “green healthcare” describes practices that facilitate a sustainable future for medicine, physicians, patients, and the environment.
Biomedical ethics are usually based on four principles: autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice . These are certain ethical reasons for pursuing green health care. The provision of green health care is especially consistent with beneficence, as it is beneficial to patients, to communities and to staff and with nonmaleficence, as it avoids harms
