1) What is the relation of Spread Spectrum with multiplexing?

2) What feature of spread spectrum with what multiplexing technique, to be for military uses?

Solutions

Expert Solution

1)

In telecommunication and radio communication signals generated within a particular bandwidth are spread in a frequency domain. When these resources are scarce, multiple signals, either analogue, digital or both, are combined into a shared medium and transmitted through a medium such as a cable Multiplexing reduces the chances of jamming.Multiplexing makes the signal robust and can pass without any interupt. Multiplexing makes the signal to pass information in spread spectrum. In spread spectrum we can transfer analaog or digital data with analog signal.

2)The direct sequence spread is used by military, In this technique, each data bit is replaced by several bits using a spread code. Using this technique the data will be able to spread securely without the fear of public exposure and fear of unauthorized access by evil personnel. This technique uses different carriers that are modulated by the source signal. This is important since it is hard for any unauthorized persons to trace the signals.
