All the three techniques mentioned are investigatie procedure
done to diagnose any abnomality. The word 'scopy' stands for
veiwing or observing the area.
- COLONOSCOPY: It is a less invasive technique where a flexible
tube inserted through the rectum and the tip consisting of small
camera which will both aid in pathway and also visualize the
abnomalities inside. It is an endoscopic examination which is done
under mild sedation and used to view the colon in the distal part
of the small intestine, large intestine and the rectum. It also
helps to remove an polyps or any tissue for biopsy. There are mild
chance for tissue rupture during this process,

- GASTROSCOPY: It is a less invasive technique where a flexible

camera which will both aid in pathway and also visualize the
abnomalities inside. It is an endoscopic examination which is done
under mild sedation and used to view the abnormality of the upper
digestive tract which will include oseophagus, stomach. . It also
helps to remove an polyps or any tissue for biopsy.
