The personal is political was a Slogan of the students movement and feminism movement in around the 1960. This Slogan becomes popular after the publication of an easy in the 1970.
The meaning of this phase was different to different people. According to some people, this slogan means the personal and political experiences of women. This slogan means feminism.
In other hand, According to Carol Hanisch, the Slogan ‘’The personal is political’’ is a debate between the personal and political. According to Carol Hanisch, any political group was not trying to solve a woman’s personal problem. Here Hanisch stated that, Personal is also political. According to her view, Political means a powerful relationship it’s not only about those who are elected officially for working with government.
Conclusion- Women are used this term ‘’The personal is political’’ to describe that the personal problems of the women in home or social situation is a matter of political and public debate. So they had used this term to mean politics is not only about solving official problems, Politics also refers to solving personal problems of the women.
