Personal Essay: "All men are created equal." What does this phrase mean to you and how does it relate to the importance of inclusion
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” is arguably the best-known phrase in any of America's political documents, as the idea it expresses is generally considered the foundation of American government which have a great meaning.
In our life also, this phrase plays a lot of importance. “ALL MEAN ARE EQUAL” is a powerful sentence as it keeps each and every one on the same plane and tell the human being that no one is superior to others. We die the same way and no one is immortal. And our ultimate end that is death is same so it is better that we realize it sooner that all men are equal.
It says that this can actually lead to pursuit of happiness.
This concept is crucial for the inclusion that we maintain with the other people. We start believing that we all are one and no differences like caste, creed, sex, race or disabilities can differentiate us.
This concept can bring us together and it can blossom friendship in us. Instead of wars, there would be love and peace. Hence if it is taken seriously world can be a better place to live in.
